Day 4 - 16 Sept 2013
Busan - Haeundae beach / Busan Aquarium / (Hotel) Toyoko Inn Busan Station 2 / BIFF Square
Flying to Busan today. Took the taxi to airport instead bus was all because of our heavy bag ! (cost about 3000 KRW. Taking the airport bus would be cheaper but with our heavy bags .. we chose not to torture ourself and took the cab! hehe ) We went to have breakfast before checking in, because we didn't got to eat abalone porridge yesterday (actually planned to have that for lunch but we didn't), so we decided to have it for breakfast today. Thought we have plenty of time, but miscounted !! We informed the restaurant, left our breakfast at the table and hurried down to do check in first.
Abalone Porridge - 12,000 KRW |
At least Air Busan counter was easy to find. When we saw that there was no one in the quene, we were so happy but the counter could only issue the air ticket! We were asked to head to another counter to do baggages check in !! So we had to quene up again just to check in our baggage. Finally got everything check in, we went back to finish up our breakfast, but there was really not enough time for us to finish. (so sad, don't like to waste food!)
Had to take the shutter bus out to the plane. Flight from Jeju Island to Busan is only 35 min flight and it served a drink only, after that there was nothing much to do, so took the chance to have a short nap. We landed at Busan on time, as there is no custom, we can clear luggages in no time.
Welcome to Busan - From my instagram |
Took the airport limousine (toward Busan station - 6000 KRW). Afraid that we might alighted at the wrong stop, so we chose to asked the bus driver if this was the right place to alight. In the end, we still alighted at the wrong stop -_- lll.
We could only check in at 4pm, so we left our luggage there and head out to our first destination

With the glaring sun outside, this was the best place to hide from it. Hehe . I do feel that the entrance fee is slightly expensive, so we took our time to see and read everything. We were just in time for music show too, where the diver and fishes swims along the music and play games with the guests.
Later than I know that the ticket that my friend bought, was with 3D ride (without the 3D ride, ticket would be cheaper). There was no one but us and we know why after the show. The shows lasted for only 10 min and not exciting at all (People ! don't go for the 3D show if you planning to go there!)
By the time we finish the Aquarium, we could head back and check in. Out of curious, went to took a walk at their market - below picture
